Semi-flexible pavement surfacing, or grouted macadam, is an alternative to conventional flexible and rigid pavement. It constructed by injecting cementitious grout into the voids of open-graded asphalt surfacing. The cement used in grouts has adverse environmental effects because carbon dioxide emission production. objective this study was investigate potential using irradiated waste polyethylene terephthalate (PET) fly ash (FA) as a (partial) replacement for semi-flexible This sought assess stiffness modulus fatigue properties specimens prepared with control grout, regular PET (2.57% + 10% FA) (4.75% FA)-based compares hot mix (HMA) concrete. surfacing showed superior performance, higher modulus, better life than asphalt. difference cycles apparent at lower stress ratios 25 30%. mixtures exceeded 100,000 lowest ratio 25%, while HMA were less cycles.
